MT. McKINLEY & DENALI NATIONAL PARK
Denali National Park, home of what the Indians call "The High One". What many
visitors call "Mt. McKinley", North American's tallest mountain. This 6-million
acre wilderness is one of the most pristine wildlife sanctuaries in the world.
More than 430 species of flowering plants coexist in this sub-arctic region with
caribou, grizzlies, wolves, moose, dall sheep, beavers and 158 varieties of
birds. Enjoy a multifaceted composite of tundra, lakes and streams, mountains

Kantishna Wilderness Trails
If you wish to travel further into the park then the wildlife tour, this is the excursion for
you.

This trip takes you by motor coach through 95 miles of Denali National Park's prime
wildlife habitat to the Kantishna Roadhouse, located just past Wonder Lake on the
banks of Moose Creek.

The trip includes refreshments en route, lunch served at the Roadhouse and
interpretive activities that relate to the history of the Kantishna district. Departs park
entrance at approximately 6:30 AM and returns at approximately 8 PM.
